After finishing the Herculean work of transcribing all the data from Sassano into family trees and then extracting the Monte San Giacomese, we took a break.

But the pull was too strong. We’re back doing the same for (arguably) the other sister town to Monte San Giacomo, Teggiano (formerly Diano). We’re cruising along, up to 1830 so far and already nearly 10k people. Simultaneously we’re also working on Ispani, but those records are rather a mess.

Even so, with the 1950 census now out we wanted to take a look back to the emigrants, and so fleshed out the tree of Giuseppe Castella and Francesca Monaco. We’ll try to keep on as time allows. Until then enjoy!
