It’s been about a year since the last post. Apologies, but we’ve been heads down and foot on the gas for the entire time, and it has now paid off for the project in a big way.

Like we did with Sassano, we have indexed three additional Salerno communes: Morigerati, Ispani, and Monte San Giacomo’s second major sister town, Teggiano (formerly Diano). Tracing the Monte San Giacomese that married people from those towns resulted in over 3200 people added to the tree.

While not doing that work, we’ve tried to keep on with the US based research but that has slowed somewhat. Nevertheless we took a lovely donation of research of over 200 people last month and incorporated that as well.

We hope to balance this better, but Padula and Piaggine call.
