If you want to use a commercial service or have your own software, instead of membership, you can purchase a GED file.
Cost is $.25 per person in the export. The export will include all research and images for those people. Please note that no living people will be included.
To purchase:
- Contact us to determine the scope of the file
- Once set, we’ll send a Paypal invoice
- Upon receipt of payment, we’ll send you a link to download the file.
Merges
What if you have already done a lot of work and just want to augment what you already have? Don’t worry we can merge the research into a single file!
The way it works is
- You purchase a file according to the parameters above but note that you want to merge it with your research.
- You provide us with GED file of your work.
- We combine it and send you a link to download the combined file.
Because merging is a manual process, there is a surcharge of $.50 for each merged individual.
Please note: If your tree comes from a commercial source like Ancestry, there is a possibility that we’ll need to do some additional work to preserve the integrity of your tree by removing the sources (and their corresponding images) from the Monte San Giacomo data. It is an unfortunate by product of the way Ancestry names the files if you pull them to your computer. The upside though, is that all the facts derived from those sources remain, so it should be a reasonably easy matter to reattach them if you continue to use Ancestry, etc.
