This month’s update concerns the Lovizio sisters, Angela and her husband Giuseppe Monaco and Maria and her husband Pietro Romano.
This update is about 120 people and 470 images.
This is the kind of research I find very rewarding because, through it, you can see how the Monte San Giacomese are all connected and continued to live with and marry each other even as they emigrated to the United States.
In the case of Angela, her daughter Domenica (Minnie) married Peter “Stitch Dundee” Pantoliano. The very public fight in the Jersey Journal regarding their divorce and alimony was certainly something to see. In the case of Maria, her daughter Rose, who was born in Brazil, married Joseph Pantoliano, Peter’s older brother.
But it doesn’t stop there! Rose Romano’s older brother Antonio had a daughter Antoinette, who married Matthew D’Attilio (whose father emigrated from Foggia), Matthew’s younger sister Rose married Patrick Pantoliano, the brother of both Joseph and Peter.
