We were able to break away from the Sassano research to spend some time in New Jersey and more interestingly Argentina. While there is a significant presence of Monte San Giacomese, a good number emigrated to/through Argentina as well.

This update traces the family Angelo Policastro & Cristina Lisa (the family of a recent supporter), as well as the Hoboken based family of Antonio Raffaele Lisa & Carmela Amato, whose children Anna and Vincenzo each married another Monte San Giacomo emigrant: Angelo Tursi (changed to Turso) and Philomena Romano.

This update includes 118 people and 423 images.

The Sassano research uncovered several more marriages:

Domenico Accetta & Patrizia Galatro (29 Mar 1790)
Nicola Pietro Romano & Scolastica d’Alessandro (10 Feb 1791)
Filippo Romano & Rosa Cartolano (5 May 1794)
Gloriante Pantoliano & Dorotea Priante (10 Oct 1795)
Vincenzo di Florio & Gaetana Pepe (19 Nov 1796)
Francesco d’Alessio & Rosa Antonia di Stavola (21 Nov 1796)
Michele di Lisa & Antonia Petrizzio (30 Jan 1797)
